Springrates provides the automotive tuning industry with a trustworthy company that specializes in high performance suspension including aftermarket coilovers, lowering springs, air ride, sway bars and more. Since then, the company has continued to offer only high caliber products alongside exceptionable customer service. Springrates strives to maintain that good reputation knowing that it is hard to find in this market.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Springrates, LLC is a company I founded, and still own and manage today.
My dad had a passion for cars. As a kid, I grew up enjoying them with him. I can't count how many scale models I built or how many miles I put on my Bigfoot power wheels. Cars motivated me. All I wanted to do was work so that I could afford to buy aftermarket parts for my vehicle and make it mine, but more importantly, fun to drive. My first car was freedom.
One of the first professional websites I was hired to create was in 2001 for a local company that manufactured its own body kits. I eventually worked my way up to Sales Manager and knew almost all aspects of the business. I used this experience and connections to start a company where I saw there was a void.
Since its inception, the website has evolved from many different ecommerce platforms including but not limited to Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce. I have personally designed and built the various websites while also creating marketing campaigns, managing social media, building relationships with manufacturers and providing great customer service.
Despite quitting on this company many times over the last 15 years, it was in 2016 that I ultimately realized how much this company meant to me personally. I decided to pour every ounce of effort I could into making it successful in memory of my father. Since that decision, I have scaled the company to seven figures in revenue annually and sponsored a NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series team.
